Following the recent release of the Reprise Albums Vol. 1 boxset, we will release Eric Clapton – The Complete Reprise Studio Albums Vinyl Box Set - Volume 2 in January 2023. The 10 LP vinyl box includes the following albums: Reptile, Me & Mr. Johnson, Sessions for Robert J, Back Home, Clapton and Rarities Volume 2 2001-2010.    

This limited-edition vinyl-only box set comprises of five studio albums Eric Clapton recorded for Reprise between 2001 and 2010 – starting with Reptile and concluding with the eponymously titled Clapton. Originally released as a CD/DVD, this box set sees the first vinyl release of Sessions for Robert J. 

Each of the albums has been remastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Studios in Maine and the vinyl mastering was done by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Los Angeles. Simon Climie, Clapton’s long-time co-producer and engineer, oversaw these definitive remasters which are pressed on 180-gram vinyl. 

To further elevate the audio quality, Me & Mr. Johnson (originally released as a single LP) has been remastered as 3-sided double albums – to ensure that no single LP side exceeds 20 minutes. (The album has an etching on side 4).  

A “bonus” LP of Rarities compiled and produced by Simon Climie is included and covers the same period as the box. Most of the 8 tracks are out of print, hard to find, or previously unreleased on vinyl. 

The five studio albums and Rarities album make a total of 10 pieces of vinyl in the box, all housed in a deluxe slipcase.
